Transland’s hydraulic gate boxes are designed for aerial applicators seeking reliable and efficient equipment for both dry and wet applications. The same gate integrates with a Transland spreader or with a spray system.
Accuracy and GPS integration
Position sensors communicate with the Satloc G4 and Falcon Pro, and closed-loop feedback holds gate accuracy to 1/16 of an inch at a position resolution of 0.18 degrees of rotation. Wind compensation works off ground speed to hold a constant rate across the field. The system supports variable rate, constant rate, and constant rate poly applications, and works with optional Meterate systems.
Set once, apply anytime
Twenty-six preset profiles come loaded through the Satloc controller, and custom profiles can be saved and recalled. Cockpit controls are simplified, and minimal physical effort is required to operate the gate box.
Aircraft and configurations
Hydraulic gates are built for the Air Tractor 402/502, the Air Tractor 602/802 and the Thrush 510, in 5″, 7.5″ and 10″ doors. Kit contents vary by aircraft: the 402/502 and Thrush 510 kits include the gate door, demand vent, power unit, cooling ducts and connection kit, while the 602/802 kits include the gate door, fairing assembly and connection kit. Transland also manufactures gate boxes to fit other agricultural aircraft.
Already running a manual gate
Conversion kits are available to move an existing 38″ manual gate to hydraulic, in both 5″ and 7.5″ door sizes. Brochures and setup manuals are available in English, Spanish and Portuguese, along with controller calibration guides.
