Aircraft Calibration

Reference charts for calibrating spray and dry equipment. The acres per minute chart (2 x swath width x mph / 1,000) gives the rate for swath widths from 30 to 500 ft at 75 to 150 mph, used to find the flow rate in gallons or pounds per minute. The acreage chart (swath length in miles x width in feet / 8.25) gives the acres covered for each swath length and width. Includes worked examples, and a hectares per minute (HPM) version is also available. Transland recommends pattern testing whenever changes are made to equipment.
